Private Sessions

Private sessions are geared towards students who have more specific needs and goals

In a private session, students will have all of the tutor’s attention focused on them

Private sessions allow tutor’s to create a personal plan for each student with frequent progress reports

Private sessions are also more flexible with scheduling as students can coordinate their own times with tutors, especially if they get a 10 session package
Group Sessions

Group sessions are geared towards parents and students that need a more affordable option for consistent tutoring

An amazing way for students to connect with other students that care about their studies, which can be a great way for them to make friends

Group sessions also teach students how to work together to solve problems as they will often be put into break out rooms

Group sessions follow a more rigid schedule and it is recommended that groups include students that are all in the same course at the same time
Exam & Course Prep

Prep courses are tailored toward students that want help studying for their exams

They will receive a work package, practice exams and extra homework to help prepare them

We also provide prep courses (such as an all intensive algebra course) to help students prepare for the following semester or to help them build fundamental skills they may have been missing from previous years

These prep courses are a great way to alleviate stress and show students that many people are in the same boat as them come exam time

Video sessions are quickly becoming a more efficient way to tutor than the classic face to face interaction.

Hi Everyone! I have been teaching and tutoring math and sciences in the Ontario Curriculum for 10 years. Starting off teaching courses for credit at a private school, I quickly found out how passionate I was about educating and that I would want to use my new found skills to help future generations.
I strongly believe that anyone can learn math and science if they are exposed to a positive learning environment led by empathetic and understanding instructors. That is what we stand for at AotC!
